Custom AI Builds
An AI assistant built around your documents, your process, and your customers.
Custom AI, scoped as a project and built for one job.
Some work sits outside what a ready-made product can cover. A Custom AI Build is a scoped project in which Advanced Technology Labs designs and builds an assistant for a defined job in your organisation: answering staff questions from your own documents, guiding a team through a process you repeat every week, or handling first-line customer questions that go beyond a standard website setup.
The build starts from your content and your rules. Knowledge builds answer from your approved documents and cite the source, so your team can check an answer in seconds. Customer builds answer from your website and your service information, and they pass the conversation to a person when the answer is not there. Where the work is sensitive, the build can run on your own infrastructure, the pattern we use in CaseMindPro, so your files stay under your control.
Every engagement starts with an assessment. The assessment fee is CA$1,500 plus applicable taxes, credited in full against the build if you proceed within 90 days. You describe the job, we review the content and systems it touches, and you receive a written proposal stating what will be built, what it will cost, and what we need from you. If one of our products already covers your need, we will tell you that during the assessment and point you to it instead.

Use Cases
See where Custom AI Builds can help your business
The three kinds of build
1. Knowledge builds
Your documents become the source for an assistant your team can question in plain language. Good source material includes policies, manuals, templates, past work and guidance your team already trusts. Answers cite the document they came from.
2. Team and workflow builds
An assistant shaped around a process your team repeats: preparing a report, working through intake, checking a document against your standard, or guiding a new starter through their first weeks. The process is mapped first, and the assistant follows the map.
3. Customer builds
A customer-facing assistant for questions and intake that a standard product setup does not cover, for example where it must draw on a large catalogue, follow your booking rules, or hand off into your existing support system. If your need is after-hours website enquiries with leads sent to your phone, NightShift will usually be the faster and cheaper route, and we will say so.
How an engagement runs
Assessment.
A short, structured review of the job, the source content, the users, and any hosting or privacy constraints. The assessment fee is CA$1,500 plus applicable taxes, credited in full against the build if you proceed within 90 days. You receive a written proposal after this step.
Prototype on your real content.
A first working version built on a sample of your actual material, so you judge it on your questions, not on a demonstration dataset.
Build and test.
The full build, tested against a set of questions and cases we agree with you in advance, including cases where the correct behaviour is to pass to a person.
Delivery and handover.
The assistant goes live in the agreed environment. Your team receives documentation and a walkthrough.
Support and changes.
After delivery, we agree how updates to content, behaviour and scope are handled, and what that costs, before you need it.
What you receive
- The working assistant, deployed in the agreed environment
- A record of the source content it answers from
- The agreed test set and its results at delivery
- Handover documentation for your team
- A summary of limits: what the assistant is built to do, and where it hands over to a person
A good fit, and a poor fit
A good fit: you can name the job in one sentence, the source content exists, and a person owns the decision on your side.
A poor fit: the job is still a general wish for AI across the business, the source content does not exist yet, or the assistant would need to make regulated decisions on its own without a person reviewing them. The assessment is the right place to surface all three, before money is spent on a build.

CaseMindPro
Privacy-first AI for law firms.
Every cloud AI tool asks your firm to make an impossible trade: better productivity for weaker confidentiality. CaseMindPro refuses that trade. It's a private, local-first AI assistant that runs on your own infrastructure rather than a third-party API, so case files, client communications, and discovery documents never leave your building. Your duty of confidentiality stays intact, and so does your peace of mind.
Under the hood, CaseMindPro uses retrieval-augmented generation to search your own case documents and deliver fast, cited answers. That means instant research recall, discovery summaries, and case-history lookups, all grounded in your firm's actual files instead of the open internet. Every answer points back to its source so you can check it, and nothing in your files is used to train someone else's model. It's your own knowledge, working faster, on hardware you control.
Firms handling privileged, regulated, or high-sensitivity matters can't afford to gamble on where their data goes. CaseMindPro is built for exactly that standard.
NightShift
The AI receptionist for your website that never clocks out.
Every enquiry that arrives after hours is a job that goes to whoever answers first. NightShift works around the clock. It holds a real conversation, works out what the customer actually needs, captures their details, and texts the lead straight to your phone. You wake up to a name and a number instead of a missed opportunity.
It answers only from your own website, and says so plainly when it doesn't know, which keeps it from inventing prices or promising availability you never offered. Emergency wording overrides everything else: if someone types “I smell gas”, your phone rings regardless of what the model made of the sentence. And each customer's data is isolated at the database level, not just in application code.
Setup is a single script tag and a short wizard. NightShift handles web chat today; phone answering and calendar booking are on the roadmap.
Contract Analyzer
AI contract review for the other 99% of us.
Contracts are written by lawyers, for lawyers. Most people signing them aren't lawyers, and most people can't afford one for a $500 freelance agreement or a lease renewal. Contract Analyzer changes that. Upload any contract and get an instant, plain-English breakdown of what it actually means: payment terms, termination clauses, liability exposure, and the obligations you're really agreeing to.
Contract Analyzer runs on simple pay-per-use pricing instead of a subscription, so freelancers, tenants, small business owners, and employees only pay when they actually need a contract reviewed. Load funds once, use them whenever a contract lands in your inbox.
It won't replace a lawyer for your biggest deals, but for the everyday contracts most people sign without a second read, it's the fastest, cheapest way to know exactly what you're agreeing to before you sign.
